Jesus Christ commissioned his disciple to go to the world and proclaim the Good news of salvation and redemption for all mankind. The Scriptures teach that God loved the whole world and sent Jesus to proclaim Salvation and healing to people. Obeying Jesus’ command, HFA has conducted city wide healing missions and seminars to bring this hope to the nations.

These missions have established Bible believing churches where people can come to worship God and fellowship with each other. The ultimate end of these missions are to bring inner transformation in the hearts of people.Thousands of men and women have become ardent advocates of the Gospel.

Sri Lanka has been challenged in recent times by natural disasters. This has left people in need of basic shelter and/or medicare. The periodic floods and cyclones have often destroyed lives and homes in many areas.

The huge tidal waves of the 2004 Tsunami destroyed 60,000 lives and denied over 100,000 fisherman of their livelihood.

HFA established the Lanka Boatyard to produce fiber glass fishing boats to those who lost their crafts in the Tsunami. Hundreds of boats were donated to the fishermen, including different types of nets.

Truck loads food, clothing, water and cooking utensils were taken to the affected people while they were living inside schools and under tents.

Lanka Healing Hands have stretched out caring hands of professionalism to the sick and people in need of medical assistance, especially those living in the more remote areas of the country.

Lanka Healing Hands has dispatched numerous medical teams comprising professional specialized doctors and nurses to help the sick. After the 2004 Tsunami struck, people who had drunk sulphur laden water took ill and had to be treated with special medication.

The teams have gone to rural and to remote areas where thousands of people have been provided free medical aid and have been cured.
